The Department of English at CIAS offers degree programs in B.S English and M.A English. Our syllabi equip students with the necessary linguistic, research and leadership skills they will require to forge a successful future. By applying time tested traditions of English Language and Literature, along with the changing trends of Pakistani society, we are imparting exceptional education to students The English department also have state of the art facilities to aid students in their academic progress. Our paramount asset however is our highly dedicated highly qualified and experienced faculty. The syllabi crafted here at the Department, we have tried to strike a harmonious balance between Literature and Language. The organizing of extra circular activates is eminent feature of the Department. These activities are instrumental in endowing students with confidence and self-belief.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. All genders from Pakistan or abroad are eligible for admission.
  2. The maximum age limit for the eligibility is 20 years on the closing date of the applications. However, in special circumstances, the age may be relaxed up to 2 years by the Competent Authority. Furthermore for Evening Program the maximum age limit will be considered 24 year and 02 year age relaxation may be granted in special case by the Competent Authority on the request of student. For programs offered in Distance Learning Education, there is no age limit.
  3. The candidates with at least 45% marks in FA/F.Sc./I.Com/ICS or equivalent examination are eligible to apply for all programs.
  4. Admissions forms can be download from website of institute and same along with education documents can be uploaded after filling.
  5. Admission will be granted strictly on merit i.e. on the basis of the marks obtained in FA/F.Sc./I.Com/ICS or equivalent examinations in 2017 and 2016 for morning programs.
  6. Admission will be granted provisionally subject to verification of the certificates of the candidates from the relevant Secondary Board. Equivalence certificate is required from relevant IBCC (where applicable).
